Coming from old vines with low yield, this full-bodied wine is characterized by a high phenolic concentration. Its colour is a dark ruby, tending towards black. The nose presents floral and black fruit aromas. It has a beautiful energy on the palate, marked by powerful black fruit flavours (blackberries, blackcurrants) at the attack. In the finish, there is a harmony of fine tannins balanced by beautiful acidity.

After a defining period working nigh on six-years at Bollinger, eighth generation grower, Benoit Déhu returned to the family Maison at the western edge of the Vallée de la Marne.
