This wine is made from fruit grown by Larry and Angela at Cobbobonnee vineyard, west of Heywood in GI Henty, Victoria. 2022 was a cool year, with plenty of hen and chicken in the Pinot Gris creating loads of small berries in the bunches, which meant very good flavour. Traditionally, during production the purifier catches the heaviest vapours which means that Ardbeg is not just "all peat" but gets a supremely balanced taste.
