Purity and clarity are the hallmarks of this wine. Woven lime curd, poached pear, lemon flesh and white nectarine feature at the forefront. This vintage breathes energy with lifted Chinese star jasmine, lime blossom and ginger notes. The complexity of cinnamon quill, toasted hazelnuts, nougat, panna cotta, flint and graphite diligently lie in the background.
The palate is bright and energetic, with laced mineral acidity. Bursting lemon, lime and pear skin meet oyster shell and saline notes, providing a precise … more

Energetic and well poised, an array of fresh lime and nashi pear is laced throughout. The palate is ethereal, mineral and defined with a presence of natural acidity. There is an enticing element of saline, wet stone and phyllitic characteristic that weaves within. The shape and frame on the palate is present and focussed with effortless length.

"DW U15 Polish Hill River. One of the best Leonays for some years. Not every maker got the acidity right in this vintage, wonderful quality awaiting those who did, as you'll find here. Its lime leaf aromas and tinkling acidity are the marks of a wine with a great future." 95 Points - James Halliday

Les Athletes du Vin represents the product of hard work by a collective of organic growers in the Loire Valley, dedicated to making bright, drinkable wines from local favourites like Pineau d'Aunis, Cabernet Franc and Gamay. Their Gamay is just as charming as the label, fresh and friendly in the glass though with a savoury forest floor and bramble bush note that leaves a lingering feeling of sophistication in the glass.

Burgound Reviews "Dominique Lafon's nephew Pierre briefly noted that the 2022 vintage "was relatively abundant as our yields were in the 50 to 55 hl/ha range, which for us is quite good but in the context of the region, if we're being honest, it's well below average. By the same token, potential alcohols were excellent as they came in between 12.5 to 13% which is right where we like them to be. Stylistically, the 2022s offer freshness, good verve and … more

'The 2023 Mâcon-Chardonnay Clos de la Crochette has one of the best aromatics of the range: crushed stone, sea cave and light Granny Smith scents with good focus. The palate is well balanced with a crisp entry. This has fine weight and density but is more backward and perhaps befits a couple of years in bottle.' Neil Martin 91pts - Vinous

Winemaker notes 'Full of perfume, summer berries, brown spice and earth notes, with fleshy weight and a savoury finish, this is cool climate Pinot Noir in fine form'.
Sourced from the Doeven site in Henty Victoria on schist soils, the Pinot Noir clone is of swiss origin (Mariafield) with an open bunch structure, perfectly suited for ripening in cooler climates. Hand picked and fermented in open top vessels with a small whole bunch component, matured in oak for 11 months … more

"Made in the Traditional Method, this Vintage 2018 Sparking Pinot Noir displays aromas of citrus, red apple and sourdough bread. The palate is elegant, with a creamy texture and crisp dry finish. The 2018 Little Cathedral Blanc De Noir is a 100% single vineyard Pinot Noir - handpicked, whole bunch pressed and tirage bottled in June 2018." Producer's note

Producer Notes - "Lake County rises high above the north end of the Napa Valley, over the Mayacamas Mountain range. Classic Bordeaux varieties dominate vineyard plantings in this agricultural basin. Warm summer days are moderated by the cooling mass of Clear Lake - California's largest natural lake. Since 2012, Little Frances has sourced Semillon from a single vineyard owned and tended by three generations of the Luchsinger family.
An absolutely superb growing season for Northern California. This wine showed promise … more

Inspired by bright North-Eastern Italian reds, Pat Underwood blends Nebbiolo and Friulian variety Refosco, sourcing fruit from Colbinabbin in Central Victoria. The wine is vibrant and fresh, bright red fruit and floral aromas and a whiff of just-picked garden mint. Pop it in the fridge for a spell and serve lightly chilled on a warm day.

Originally from the volcanic soils of Southern Italy, it makes sense that Fiano would find home in the equally remarkable Cambrian soils of Heathcote. The guys at Jasper Hill have a ball making this cracking Fiano in their Heathcote site, a great mid-week wine laden with texture and notes of quince, hazelnut and fresh honeycomb, right from the hive.
