Garnet red in colour, our Davo Plum Aperitivo Bitters balances tart Davidson Plum (a lip-puckering sour native Australian plum grown in tropical rainforests) and Rosella flowers with sweet Aussie oranges and a hint of Tasmanian Pepperberry. Sweet with a hint of bitterness, expect flavours of plum, citrus and raspberry with a slight peppery finish. As our products are seasonal, there may be slight variations in colour, aroma and flavour from batch to batch. Some natural sediment may also be present. … more
Bardolino's time has come! The junior sibling to it's neighbour Valpolicella, Bardolino is 'Italy's Beaujolais'. These lighter, even chillable but still reds are ideal for much of the style of modern Australian eating.
60% Corvina with Rondinella and Molinara making up the remaining 40%.

"Roasted cherries, warmed clove and star anise aromas waft from the glass as dried floral hints and wild thyme rise as the wine opens. Mouthfilling with loads of mixed wild berries fresh, dried and preserved all combined with oak spice finishing with subtle earth and superfine tannins." Wine Ethusiast

Producer Note - "Grigsby is our close planted, certified organic Chardonnay block planted in 2007. Named in honour of our viticulturalist Lucas Grigsby, who has been with us since 1987; this block continues our explorations into high-density viticulture, this time with Chardonnay"
"Light-medium yellow colour with a rich and toasty/oaky bouquet that enshrines nougat, roasted hazelnuts and creamy lees derived facets. A very complex chardonnay, full and rich and generous in the mouth with a long-lasting aftertaste. A ripping chardonnay." … more

This excellent release is an amalgamation of Bannockburn's entire spectrum of vineyards. The 2023 includes fruit from Olive Tree Hill, planted in 1976, 10 Rows (1991), Stuart Block (1997) and Anns Block (2004). As with the Chardonnay, 2023's paltry yields meant the team could not make De La Terre Pinot Noir, so fruit from that close-planted block was included in this blend.

96 points, Erin Larkin, The Wine Companion "The 2023 SRH Chardonnay is textural and taut; it is bound in phenolics at this point, but clearly superb. The length of flavour shows this. The complexity shows this. It's a hugely impressive wine that speaks of white peach, green apples, green olive brine, white strawberries and white pepper. It's salty and a little chewy. This will be a seriously great wine-give it time. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap."
