This is a classic non-vintage Champagne in Bollinger’s trademark full-bodied richer style - the result of ageing of its reserve wines for 5-10 years.

The first Champagne to clearly state the year it was laid down in the cellars-""Mis en Cave"". This allowed the consumer to work out the exact make up of the blend, plus there is always at least 40% Reserve wines used to maintain the house style. However doe to consumer confusion the 'Mis en Cave ' system has been replaced by the 'Brut Reserve' but the disgorgement date can still be found on the back neck of the bottle. The … more

The fruit for the Rosé comes from the top villages of Riceys, Abonnay and Aÿ, with the delicate colour obtained from a short skin contact with the Pinot Noir element in the blend. 20% of the blend is made up of old reserve wines, which are up to 10 years of age.
The wine is made up of 36% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay and 28% Pinot Meunier and has been aged on its lees for over 3 years. A wonderfully … more

Vintages: 2019 (50%), 2018 (30%), 2017 (20%). Bottling: 2020. Disgorgement: July 2024. Time on lees: 48 months
This is simply a stunning release of this wine. As always, it’s 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay exclusively from low-yielding Grand Cru vines, predominantly located in Ambonnay, but also Bouzy and Verzenay. The old cliché - Egly starts harvesting when everyone else has finished - still holds true, and it’s obvious from the first sip that this wine is made from perfectly … more

Founded in 1785, Heidsieck & CO Monopole is one of the oldest Houses in Champagne. This historical legacy is present in each of these wines, recognised for their exceptional oenological and often award-winning qualities.
The bouquet is powerful and generous, almost woody and spicy, characterised by intense aromatic richness, with toasted, buttery, and wine-rich aromas. It expresses bold initial notes presaging a full, fruity taste that is nicely structured.
This is an ideal apéritif champagne that is powerful, vigorous, and … more

"Only the very greatest wines are able to communicate the subtleties not only of the place that has given them birth, but the very personalities of those who have brought them to life. When I first tasted the enchanting Champagnes of J. Lassalle, I knew nothing of the estate of three generations of women. There is a tender woman's touch here, and my notes flow with superlatives of 'delicate', 'restrained', 'sophisticated' & 'gorgeous'. These are impeccably crafted cuvees of generous … more

2018 base, disgorged May 2022. This dazzling Pinot Meunier represents superb value in a market where rosé wines are getting more and more pricey. It's a blend of Meunier vinified three ways. Firstly, 60% of the volume is from fruit pressed off in the traditional way to make a white wine (over one-third of this component was reserve wines that had been aged in barrels). Secondly, 30% was made as a saignée rosé (the juice left in contact with the … more

This pure, punchy, farmer fizz is a blend of 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, drawn from parcels set across the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. Aurélien Laherte ferments the wines in a mix of foudres, tanks and barrels, with regular stirring of the lees. The wine is a 50/50 split between two recent, concurrent harvests with the 50% reserve wine enhancing the wine's depth and spice-like complexity. It's a super … more
