Vermentino from Sardinia. This is a refreshing, cleansing and bright white wine from an idyllic Mediterranean climate. A bright straw colour with green/golden glints. Fresh floral nose with hints of apple/pear and a slight saline overture. Focused and fresh on the palate with an underlying minerality coming through. Ellena Giuseppe Langhe Nascetta 2019

Monte Ronca 'Colle Marianna' Soave 2022
The inactive volcano Monte Calvarina is home to the vines of this Estate. The high altitude and volcanic soils are the reason Antonio Fattori can make compelx and elegant wines. The use of appassimento (sun drying of grapes) adds further depth of flavour. This is a Soave producer of the highest order. Interestingly, Antonio only uses Garganega in his three wines. One of the best value Dolcetto we've see in some time. It harks back to the juicier, more fragrant Dolcetto we grew up on, as opposed to the increasing array of more structured Nebbiolo-esque versions on the market today.
