Chorey-lès-Beaune is a village in the Côte de Beaune, located just north of Beaune itself. Often overshadowed by more prominent neighbouring appellations, it produces wines that are approachable, balanced, and distinctly Burgundian. 'Les Petits Champs Longs' holds particular significance for Romain and Evelyne, as it is the first vineyard they purchased en plein droit (in full ownership). Nectarine, white peach and citrus, with a hint of exotic fruit, nice cashew nut oak and spiced pear, it’s complex and intense with … more

Red fruits, super plush with rosehip, watermelon, campari, hints of stalk and a dusting of ultra fine tannin too.
We think this is a delicious anytime wine with plenty of appeal for those that love Pinot Noir and lighter, prettier styles.

Very pale straw yellow with greenish glints, perfect clarity with abundant, persistent, fine perlage. The fresh, elegant bouquet offers flowery sensations merging into a typically fruity harmonious complexity with intense aromas reminiscent of golden apple. Fresh, delicate, balanced on the palate and light in alcohol with a long fruity finish. Perfect as an aperitif, ideal with fish, it goes extremely well starters & light first courses.
Glera (min. 85%) and other local white grape varieties (max. 15%),.
Producer Notes - "Against the light, its intense, subtle perlage, its colour, which becomes bright green, and its compact froth can be appreciated. To the nose, it evokes late spring with its hints of peach and yellow apple while the taste is harmonious, pleasurably savoury and acidulous.
Ideal as an aperitif and excellent throughout the meal. This wine goes particularly well with sea bass and sea bream fillets as … more

Disributor Notes "This year’s Saison summer vermouth release sees the original aperitif evolve into something new, but still with a nod to its past. Multiple white flower varieties lend their aromatic qualities to this sweet bianco-style vermouth - jasmine, elderflower, white rose and chrysanthemum blossoms - wild picked and organically farmed alongside an infusion of white peaches grown on the outskirts of Melbourne. The base is of Victorian moscato and frontignac, bittered with fresh wormwood and cinchona, and aged in … more

"The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva Le Baròncole (a certified organic wine) shows bright fruit with summer cherry and redcurrant. It offers textural heft and weight. Its Riserva status (with extended aging) is well noted. With time in the glass, it unfolds to leather, potting soil and crushed stone. This vintage does however show a more accessible personality overall (and a powerful 15% alcohol content)." 94, Monica Larner - Wine Advocate
