Steeped in tradition, the Toro DO is a wine-growing region in the heart of Castile and León, in the province of Zamora. The DO is next to Rueda and not far from Ribera and Rioja. It's one of Spain's best-kept secrets. Wines have a long history in this region, dating back to Roman times. Hailing from the lower slopes of the Dolomites are the wines of Antonio Fattori. Locally regarded as exceptionally talented in cultivating Garganega and Pinot Grigio and producing wines that speak of the place they came from. The Soave is top notch and a great value for the dollars. Peachy stone fruit and zesty citrus, with a hint of green almond and sea-spray minerality.
Adelaide hills delivers one of our best pinot finds at this price point! This wine is packed full of juicy cherries and raspberries, with hints earthy spice -- think dried mushrooms, leather and cloves. Silky tannins and fine acidity on the palate, creating a moreish wine of finesse and complexity.

It yodels "Summer!" with it's balance of ripe, almost tropical fruit and the zingy acidity.
