Daniel Bouland Beaujolais Morgon 'Délys' 2022 Magnum

The lieu-dit Les Délys is part of the Corcelette climat located downslope from Bellevue and right behind Bouland's residence and winery-it's his back garden if you like. Again, Bouland splits his vines into two cuvées: an old-vine cuvée raised in foudre and this younger-vine version raised in concrete. Delas Côtes du Rhône 'Saint Esprit' 2022

60% Syrah, 40% Grenache.

Unusually for Cotes du Rhone this is majority Shiraz, rather than Grenache. As a result the Saint-Esprit's deep color has a dark, plum-like hue. The nose is classical Syrah, with berry fruit, violet and licorice. It has a full, rounded palate with delicate tannins. Excellent value.
