Warre's Otima 10 Year-Old-Tawny balances the generosity of fresh, youthful fruit with the sophistication and elegance that a decade in seasoned wood brings to the wines. The Port displays amplitude, combining fruit-driven volume with the seductive mellowness and delicacy of wood ageing
Rich tawny colour, with an excellent nose of nuts and hints of mature fruit. On the palate light and delicate, beautifully rounded, with hints of dried fruits, and a long elegant finish.

The remarkable property, formally known as Churinga, proved too alluring for the Barry brothers to
resist and after purchasing the vineyards they set about bringing the wines and the characters of the
past to life. Rather than amalgamating the newly acquired vines into the family's existing labels, the uniqueness of the site, and the charming history of the past, have led the brothers to bottle the wines
under the new Watervale Gardeners moniker in order to preserve and progress the … more

"The bouquet of this great dry Riesling is like an essence of golden stone fruits, yet it remains delicate and charming. Stunning concentration and brilliance on the very focused medium-bodied palate. After the first wave of peachy and apricot character comes another of blood orange and Amalfi lemon. So much wet stony minerality!" Stuart Pigott, Jamessuckling.com

Producers Notes - "Thal holds a special value to us as it is inextricably linked to the history of our estate. It is our oldest and most traditional vineyard, where our family first cultivated vines in 1856. The vines, some up to 80 years old, grow on a broadly terraced slope in the southern part of Langenlois, composed of quartz sand and bright, … more
Shanteh Wale puts this at least as well as we could hope to... "Organically managed fruit from Mount Gambier. Two months on gross lees and two months on fine lees. Peach cheeks, cider apples and cumquat skin. Yellow guava, ginger candy and nutmeg. There is a cascade of acidity, graceful and sumptuous. Everything promised is delivered in truckloads on the palate, with the added notes of treacle tart, almond butter and lemon pith. A stylish wine created with precision, focus … more

Winemakers Notes "2023 was a wet and cold vintage. The cooler season provided the perfect opportunity to make a sparkling Riesling in the Traditional Method/Sekt style. Grapes picked on 5th April. Partially whole bunch pressed, light pressing, all free run juice. Fermented in old French puncheons and kept on gross lees for 3 months. 13 months on lees in bottle adds subtle complexity, the dosage of 4 g/L balances perfectly with the higher acid from the cooler season. Savoury, brioche … more

Upper Yarra Valley Chardonnay (I10V5) from the excellent Bulong Vineyard (Yarra Junction), a gentle south facing slope grown on grey clay loam soils. Harvested in late February, fruit was gently pressed to tank to settle. Following a light racking, juice is naturally fermented in neutral French barriques. Rested on fine lees for 9 months with bâtonnage. MLF in some barrels. No additions beyond sulfur.
"It's tight and crunchy, but it’s also saline and savoury, offers some ginger and spice, green … more

Producer Notes - "Articulation 2020 is an elegant classic Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, made slowly with purpose to truly reflect exceptional regional characters. Made using fruit sourced from East Hill Estate, Kangaroo Ground. Planted in 1995, grown on dark volcanic soils - it's Western location fortunately spared it from any smoke issues impacting other parts of Victoria, with the warmer site ensuring optimum ripeness was achieved in an unusually cool and protracted vintage.
Hand harvested on April 15th in pristine … more

Impenetrable black as night colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Heady aromatics of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate intermix with vanillin cedar, black plum and spice. Bold, richly textured flavours of succulent blackberries, liquorice and black plum flavours hit the palate with tremendous force completely saturating the mouth. Underpinning the fruit is spicy vanillin oak, light earth and spicy pepper. Velvet smooth tannins have a lurking sturdiness to them. Outstanding concentration and power with a long … more

The fruit for the Springflat comes from four sites; 60% of which comes from our northern vineyards, 40% from the south at Mia Mia. Dark crimson in colour - if one wine represents a snapshot of the whole vintage, this is it. There are delightful red fruit aromatics of raspberry and strawberries, along with some briary cigar box and undergrowth characters. The palate has a nervous energy of natural acids, with opulent red fruits and forest floor flavours. The Springflat … more

Producer Notes - "Once hand harvested with careful sorting in the vineyard, the bunches were partially crushed by foot and very gently pressed, directly to barriques. Natural fermentation occurs in 33% new oak barriques (Francois Freres MOG, medium toast, Dargaud & Jaegle Vosges, medium toast) with 100% malolactic fermentation. Lees ageing in barrel for 12 months, followed by four months in stainless steel on fine lees, before racking (according to the new moon) and bottling, unfined and unfiltered, no stabilisation. … more
