Bannockburn '1314' Pinot Noir 2024

The 1314 range is legendary Bannockburn's entry level range. It's all estate fruit, and the winery consistently produces tasty and complex wines in both Chardonnay and Pinot at this level.

This one has 3 different clones and is from fruit sourced from several sites across the Bannockburn property - that means added complexity via a diversity of soil types and aspects.

There's about 25% whole bunch here, which includes a portion of carbonic maceration. Like the equivalent Chardonnay, there's wild yeast fermentation in French hogsheads (about 20% new), and aged on lees for a few months before bottling. Stellar vineyards, premium winemaking knowhow and a great value price.
