Producer Notes - "This Cabernet comes from an excellent neighbouring site planted on ancient decomposed granite, loam and clay soils that are typical of the local area. These soils are ideal for wine quality as they provide good drainage and are high in mineral content without being too rich.

A comforting tone of magenta and black; violets, crushed leaf, cedar and polished leather with some crunchy red berry fruit. As it opens-up, a delicious core of bright red fruits corseted by cedary tannins which pulsate along the palate. Nicely rounded, no bumps or edges. A joyous, harmonious wine that brings cabernet to life and delivers on the noble elements of the variety in a most accessible manner. For those who like a cabernet, that is more right-bank than left-bank, in terms if style.
