Baron Leopold Bordeaux Red 2018

42% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc. Simply, the quintessential and classic Bordeaux drinking experience. Black, curranty fruits, green tobacco, a little leafiness, and a beautiful

profile of grainy, gravelly tannin. The Franc element gives some lovely aromatic lift; an elegant and savoury claret for easy enjoyment, on its own or with just about any classic French dish.

Château de Malleret Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2015

56% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot.

Situated in the commune of Pian-Médoc, the Château de Malleret terroir is one of the oldest in the region. Over three centuries of history, some of the great names in wine and trade have followed on from each other as head of the estate. The château remained in the hands of the Clossmann family, despite different names, until 2000, when it was sold to Maison de Luze.

Chateau Flamand-Bellevue 2018

The 100 hectares of our vineyard are settled on the hillsides, in calcareous clay and gravel. The vineyard is the highest in the town of Tresses, ten kilometres from the center of Bordeaux. Facing south, the vineyard is, as tradition dictates, planted with the following grape varieties: mostly Merlot 70%, which brings the softness, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon for the strong side, and 8% Cabernet Franc for finesse, supplemented with 1% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot.

Chateau Flaunys 2015

A very beautiful intense dark colour. The slightly woody nose has aromas of very ripe fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, prune). The mouth opens with an explosion of flavours (candied fruits, vanilla, subtle aromas of brioche) and a finish of great length, worthy of the greatest Bordeaux vintages! It is all finesse and elegance.

Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion Pessac Leognan 2009

A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2009 La Mission-Haut-Brion stood out as one of the most exceptional young wines I had ever tasted from barrel, and its greatness has been confirmed in the bottle. A remarkable effort from the Dillon family, this is another large-scaled La Mission that tips the scales at 15% alcohol. A blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (47% of each) and the rest Cabernet Franc, it exhibits an opaque purple color … more

Chateau Latour Pauillac 1st Growth 2005

'A great wine, the summation of a great vintage in Bordeaux. The core of richness, the dense, bone-dry tannins, the black currants, red berries and black plum skins are the elements, but it’s the way they have been integrated that makes this such an impressive wine. There is great elegance as well, a fabulous counterpoint to such power. Cellar for at least 15 years, but this will keep forever. *Best of 2008, Cellar Selection* (RV)'

Château Léoville Las Cases 2me Cru Classe Saint-Julien 2015

With one of the longest and most pedigreed histories in the Medoc region, Chateau Leoville-Las-Cases has passed through the hands of some of France’s most notable and wealthiest noble families, culminating in the Las Cases family - the final royal family to hold title to the Chateau. Up until the French Revolution, after which large portions of it were sold off, it was one of the largest vineyards in Bordeaux.

Today, the estate remains family owned by the Delons, of … more

Since purchasing Château Les Grands Maréchaux, the current owners have been blessed with a run of spectacular vintages, including the one that created this claret. The property isplanted to 84% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. It bestowed winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt with perfectly ripe fruit on which to work his magic. Chateau Margaux Margaux 1st Growth 2009

A brilliant offering from the Mentzelopoulos family, once again their gifted manager, Paul Pontallier, has produced an uncommonly concentrated, powerful 2009 Chateau Margaux made from 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest primarily Merlot with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. As with most Medocs, the alcohol here is actually lower (a modest 13.3%) than most of its siblings-. Abundant blueberry, cassis and acacia flower as well as hints of charcoal and forest floor aromas that are almost Burgundian … more

Château Nénin Fugue de Nénin Pomerol 2010

Fugue de Nénin was created and first sold in 1997. Fugue comes from sandy-clay soils found in the eastern part of the Château's vineyards, as well as from the young vines planted on the great plateau terroirs. This second wine is a typical example of the charm of Pomerol. Fugue is a reference to music; it means a repetition of the main theme. This name makes sense when you taste the wine - Fugue complements the tonalities of its older … more
