"As seems often to be the case with our Museum releases, this wine belies its age. Still tinged with youthful green elements, the wine is incredibly fresh and bright for its years. Delicate blossom and citrus edges fill the nose, together with a distinct wet stone/mineral quality and white stone fruit. More citrus follows on the palate, with notes of custard apple and honeydew melon throughout. The beautifully integrated acid is soft yet present, creating balance and enabling fabulous length. Winemakers Notes: 2012 was an excellent season at Crawford River, with concentrated fruit and terrific acidity. Perfumed with white stonefruit, citrus blossom, honeysuckle and underlying spice, the nose entices you to a concentrated, elegantly textural palate. Seamlessly integrated fruit and chalky acidity help to create an amalgam of layered complexity, finesse and excellent persistence.
