Lansdowne Peloton Syrah 2016

Producer Notes - "Overlooking our estate is Checker Hill. It's a fierce climb that hosts the Tour Down Under and other brave weekend lycra-clad maniacs. This one is made for the peloton (the main bunch of cyclists in a race), to help them get over that hill and down the other side into our vineyard."

Medium-weight, juicy feel, touch of Middle Eastern spice - dangerously easy to drink - finishing fresh and breezy.

Fruit picked from the high north-east facing Talunga Ridge ensured slow ripening for added flavour complexity and big varietal character. Partial malo in new and old medium toasted French oak.
