Il Carpino Vigna Runc Malvasia 2020

Bright straw-yellow with waxy orchard fruits and citrus aromas of cumquats and tangerine, punctuated with elderflower and green almond notes. The palate carries the fruits through but is more exotic, with glazed apricots and tangelo tightened up with apricot skin bitter notes and hints of aromatic herbs. The palate is chewy and sapid with pulpy phenolics, briny mineral notes and waxy spice. Overall, it is refreshing and savoury with a long and incredibly persistent finish.
