Hailing from the lower slopes of the Dolomites are the wines of Antonio Fattori. Locally regarded as exceptionally talented in cultivating Garganega and Pinot Grigio and producing wines that speak of the place they came from. The Soave is top notch and a great value for the dollars. Peachy stone fruit and zesty citrus, with a hint of green almond and sea-spray minerality.
This wine is made from fruit grown by Larry and Angela at Cobbobonnee vineyard, west of Heywood in GI Henty, Victoria. 2022 was a cool year, with plenty of hen and chicken in the Pinot Gris creating loads of small berries in the bunches, which meant very good flavour. Heady, intense and powerful. A collision of waxy dark chocolate, warm blackcurrants and muscovado sugar pulls you under its spell with a burst of plump cherries and earthy pine needles leaping from its depths. Ardbeg HEAVY VAPOURS is the most FULL-BLOWN Ardbeg ever!
Traditionally, during production the purifier catches the heaviest vapours which means that Ardbeg is not just "all peat" but gets a supremely balanced taste.
For the release of this batch the purifier was removed from the distillation process before being matured in classic Ardbeg casks. And this whisky is the consequence.
Heavy Vapours have risen, making this dram the most full-blown Ardbeg ever.

100% Assyrtiko from old vines within a section of one of their oldest vineyards. The vines are cultivated in the traditional basket style, called "kouloura" to protect the grapes from the wind.
Some of the other old vine cuvees from Argyros include oak maturation, but Cuvee Monsignori sees no oak, just extended leees aging, highlighting the saline drive and fine tanninc texture inherent to Assyrtiko. A spectacular wine.

A quintessential Santorini white from the Islands' largest winegrower. All stainless steel to highlight the incredible crisp saline nature of Aegean Assyrtiko. It's clean, fresh with just a whisper of phenolic texture to balance to acidity. A terrific introduction top level Santorini.

Made from 100% Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) from 50-100-year vines grown at 350-400m altitude on granite soils. Typically this sees about 1-month skin maceration in large chestnut barrels, then is trasferred to concrete vessel before bottling.
