The Domaine's top cuvée hails from a parcel of 30- to 50-year-old vines on very chalky, white limestone soils above Baudry's cellars in Cravant-les-Côteaux.

"Tasted at the domaine, about three months after the bottling. This is an impressive 'wow' wine aromatically, perfumed and fresh, with toasted cherry and bright peach stone on the nose. The palate is divine, textured, complete and finessed, cleanly defined, pure and correct. Incredible fruit, cut through with a chalky, talc-like mineral substance, showing a style very typical of the lieu-dit, but undeniably lifted by the quality of this vintage.
