Equipo Navazos 'I Think' Manzanilla Saca de July 2018 375ml

This is truly a 'Junior de La Bota'. The wine spent some 4½ years under flor before being bottled gently (en rama) to preserve the original authenticity (colour, intensity and aromas) and so as to deliver a Manzanilla in the bottle that tasted as though it were being served straight from the cask. Equipo Navazos La Bota de Amontillado (No. 69) Magnum

From Hijos de Rainera Perez Marin.

The historic premises of Calle Misericordia in Sanlacar de Barrameda were thoroughly refurbished just a few years ago. The works did not significantly affect the thousands of casks of the solera and criaderas of manzanilla that are maturing in the two main buildings, but it did change the disposition and the wines of the Sala de Banderas, mainly casks of amontillado in the most delicate Sanlacar style. Besides the dozens of butts that surround … more

Its age is estimated at around twelve years of which the past seven have been spent in a single dry oloroso cask.
