Eleventh House Cabernets 2021

Don't let the merlot's bad rap scare you off - this is a wine not to be missed. Gone are the hot, flabby characters of merlot from yesteryear - replaced by bright, vibrant red plum character, a sumptuous line of acidity and a lovely tea leaf quality that refreshes the palate and leaves you wanting another glass. Producer Notes - "Lake County rises high above the north end of the Napa Valley, over the Mayacamas Mountain range. Classic Bordeaux varieties dominate vineyard plantings in this agricultural basin. Warm summer days are moderated by the cooling mass of Clear Lake - California's largest natural lake. Since 2012, Little Frances has sourced Semillon from a single vineyard owned and tended by three generations of the Luchsinger family.
