This is a wine in full maturity, the result of lengthy ageing under "flor" - a veil of yeasts, in American oak barrels using the solera and criaderas system.
Very dry, it denotes a salinity, complexity, intensity and length that is hard to compare, offering a long persistence on the palate. This is a rare breed of fino that is pure, serious and traditional. Tradición old fino: unique quality. Limited production.

Its passage through the mouth is friendly and balanced, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a nice impression … more
A gravelly hill formed by the snaking Isonzo River in Veneto is home to a pocket of gravel, perfect for growing Pinot Grigio. Here you'll find the original plantings of Bortoluzzi's vineyards. The grapes that grow there exude lush florals, both mellow and fresh on the palate and bursting with notes of fresh green pear and a whiff of herbaceous olive oil.

Winery Notes " On the Nose, Lime Brulé, citrus blossom and lemon zest. Time on lees has left aromas of rolled oats, spruce timber and sourdough. Palate, Prim acidity provides structure throughout the length of the palate. Time maturing on yeast lees from fermentation gives the illusion of the wine being riper than it is and helps balance the acidity that will be its hallmark of the long cool year 2023 vintage. "An extremely pleasing, lifted medium weight Shiraz. On the palate this wine exhibits classic plum and ripe raspberry fruit notes that are typically Shiraz. Lovely fresh oak tannins are intrinsically woven with the fruit to seamlessly add length and breadth. A hallmark of our wine is balance and this wine shows this even in its current youth - giving great cellaring potential. A delight to drink now or put away in the cellar. An incongruous blend of regions - Macedon and the Yarra Valley - has brought about something quite delicious here. We're always impressed with Bress' offerings and given how popular this wine is, safe to say you lot agree! Fragrant, soft and silky, with plenty of spice and body. A great classic Pinot Noir.
