Importer Notes - "Nebbiolo from the sunny, sloping vineyards of Roero, just north of Barolo, known for its generous and fruity wines. The loose, sandy soil attributes remarkably pronounced aromatics and flavours. The famed Valmaggiore vineyards of Bruno Giacosa and Luciano Sandrone are literally stone's thrown from Sordo's. And no, it is not a typo, the vintage is 2019! An exceptional year in Piedmont, and no surprise, with a couple of years of added complexity, this scratches the ceiling for … more

We love a portmanteau here, so the 'Dolba' immediately caught our eye. A blend of Dolcetto and Barbera from the windy hills of the Langhe, this is a perfect 'rosso da tavola'. Plonk it on your next dinner table, alongside a bowl of pasta, ideally with a red sauce of some description, and enjoy with gusto.

Nerello Mascalese, with 10% Nerello Cappuccio from the communes of San Lorenzo, Feudo, Calderara Sottana & Feudo di Mezzo.
A quintessential Enta Rosso, that effortlessly covers the "Barolo meets Burgundy" phrase thrown about by many to describe Etna. It's elegant, with good complexity, hints of cherry and plum, notes of leather and tobacco, velvety fine tannins and a silky long finish.

This wine based amaro with 17% is one the oldest Cappelletti recipes. Made with Alpine blueberries, herbs and pine which are all foraged around the Dolomites. It makes for a medium bodied amaro with a refreshing fresh pine mint flavour intertwined with tart berries. Can be used as a replacement for vermouth.

This wine is 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in Barbaresco's prestigious Rabajà vineyard, located just south of Cortese's winery. To achieve the perfect structural balance, the wine is aged for twenty-two months in seasoned Slavonian oak casks, then bottled and cellared for an additional thirteen months.
Unfiltered to preserve its richness, this remarkably elegant Barbaresco offers concentrated aromas of raspberries, roses, violets, leather and spice. Full-bodied with robust flavor and firm tannins.
