This exceptional cuvée, created in 1964 in tribute to the House's founder, is the result of a blend
of the best terroirs from the Montagne de Reims (Pinot Noir 60%) and the Côte des Blancs vineyards
(Chardonnay 40%). Its vinification, partly in traditional oak casks, underpins the generous character of
this fine, elegant and rich wine. 2012 was marked by a healthy harvest, offering grapes rich in sugar
and with good acidity. Their remarkable quality produced one of the finest … more

Le Clos St Hilaire is probably the rarest wine from the Billecart-Salmon portfolio. The "Clos" originates from a single enclosed, contiguous one-hectare parcel of old vines planted with Pinot Noir in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in 1964.100% vinified in casks. 159 months on lees. 2g/l dosage.

"Surely the most under-priced champagne on the market today, yet one of the most complex. The 60/25/15% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier blend is of scant importance compared with the 400 components with 60% reserves, the oldest 8+ years old. Majestically complex and layered in a jewelled crown of freshness. 96 points" - James Halliday's Top 100 2020
This is a classic non-vintage Champagne in Bollinger’s trademark full-bodied richer style - the result of ageing of its reserve wines for 5-10 years.

Eight years on lees, this Champagne draws on vineyards in the crus of Les Mesnil, Avize, Averney and Ay for a toasty and chalky experience. Fruit characters of apricot and white peach, jasmine tea, perhaps some apple and pear in there too - we'll see as these characters unfold and develop over the next 20 or so years. Wonderful now but will reward patience.

The first Champagne to clearly state the year it was laid down in the cellars-""Mis en Cave"". This allowed the consumer to work out the exact make up of the blend, plus there is always at least 40% Reserve wines used to maintain the house style. However doe to consumer confusion the 'Mis en Cave ' system has been replaced by the 'Brut Reserve' but the disgorgement date can still be found on the back neck of the bottle. The … more

The fruit for the Rosé comes from the top villages of Riceys, Abonnay and Aÿ, with the delicate colour obtained from a short skin contact with the Pinot Noir element in the blend. 20% of the blend is made up of old reserve wines, which are up to 10 years of age.
The wine is made up of 36% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay and 28% Pinot Meunier and has been aged on its lees for over 3 years. A wonderfully … more

Founded in 1760 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a grand cru village located in la Côte des Blancs.
Delamotte is produced when Salon is not made, as it has not been for over 75% of the last century's worth of vintages. It draws on the same tensile Chardonnay source, Mesnil-sur-Oger, while complementing it with other sources across the Côte des Blancs. In essence, this is 'baby Salon'!
The Brut is 55% Chardonnay, which forms the backbone of its structure while 35% Pinot … more
Debuting in 2022, this is the third release of Egly’s sole Chardonnay-dominant cuvée, and it’s the second release to include three vintages. The wine is drawn from a plot on the south-facing slopes of Bisseuil, a village just east of the famous communes of Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. While these two latter villages are renowned for Pinot Noir, Bisseuil is more known for Chardonnay; it’s the only village in the area with more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir. The blend here is … more
