"Surely the most under-priced champagne on the market today, yet one of the most complex. The 60/25/15% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier blend is of scant importance compared with the 400 components with 60% reserves, the oldest 8+ years old. Majestically complex and layered in a jewelled crown of freshness. 96 points" - James Halliday's Top 100 2020

This is a classic non-vintage Champagne in Bollinger’s trademark full-bodied richer style - the result of ageing of its reserve wines for 5-10 years.

A gravelly hill formed by the snaking Isonzo River in Veneto is home to a pocket of gravel, perfect for growing Pinot Grigio. Here you'll find the original plantings of Bortoluzzi's vineyards. The grapes that grow there exude lush florals, both mellow and fresh on the palate and bursting with notes of fresh green pear and a whiff of herbaceous olive oil.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, 'king of all wines' according to poet Francesco Redi in the 17th century, bears a family resemblance to both Chianti Classico and Brunello, as it is made from clone of Sangiovese that, in this region, is known as Prugnolo Gentile.
"A little early for a review on this wine but what more do you need to know apart from the fact its
Trembles' favourite wine! The 2021 is a delicious drink for sure, but the true … more

"Outstanding.
A whiff of mineral reduction is present on the cool aromas of green apple, white flowers and a hint of wood. There is more evident minerality to the more energetic if less seductively textured flavors that terminate in a moderately firm, clean and dry finale. This will need to develop more depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range." Burghound, Issue #83

More subtle though still prominent oak can be found on the much more reserved red currant and dark berry-suffused nose that displays an astonishing array of spice, exotic tea and soft earth aromas. There is better energy as well as more evident minerality on the sleek and sophisticated flavors that deliver superb length and depth on the balanced finale. This is a powerful but classy effort that, very much like the Le Corton, is going to need a long stay … more

"(from purchased grapes). Moderately generous wood and menthol fight somewhat with the exuberantly spicy black cherry liqueur-like aromas that are cut with lovely floral wisps. There is excellent concentration to the bigger-bodied and more powerful flavors that are blessed with ample amounts of sappy dry extract that does a fine job of buffering the firm tannic spine shaping the complex, balanced and hugely long finale. Excellent. (93-95)/2035+" Burgound, Issue 86

"Its really hard to imagine how a white Brugundy could be more flinty and minerally than this super-concentrated and super-vibrant Chevalier Montrachet. Lovely aromas of lemon blossom, jasmine, tangerine and nectarine, alongside all the stony stuff. Then comes the staggeringly long finish that is totally pure and precise. From Bouchard's 2.3-hectare holding, which comprises almost a third of the entire Grand Cru site. Drink or hold." 100 points, Stuart Pigott - jamessuckling.com … more

"Cool, pure and elegant aromas are comprised by notes of essence of green apple, a panoply of spice elements, mineral reduction and plenty of citrus nuances, all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to mention. The very rich, full-bodied and markedly powerful flavors coat the palate with dry extract while the firm acid spine preserves the excellent delineation on the austere and intense citrusy finale.
