Pikes Eastside Shiraz 2016 375ml

Absolutely terrific Clare Shiraz, worth at least $35 in our opinion. Clare Valley Shiraz often flies under the radar, but the region produces excellent wines year in year out that offer good drinking and the ability to age slowly and gracefully. Drink now and the next 7 -10 years. Try this with your favourite piece of beef.

Ripe plum and black cherry fruit with hints of mocha, graphite and some spicy notes as well. A nice little touch of charry French oak in the background mix. The palate is medium bodied with the ripe, dark fruits to the fore with balanced acidity and savoury tannins giving length and structure to

the wine.
