Toro Albala Fino Electrico En Rama Bombilla 750ml

This special bottling of the Fino Electrico, honors the history of the winery, which is located in a former power station.

It is important to note that Albala´s Fino Electrico en rama comes from a separate solera (to the established Fino Electrico del Lagar solera). The en rama solera was first established in 1922, so well before the Electrico solera, which was laid in the 1960s. The en rama solera is also housed in Moriles itself, while the original sits in Tora Albala’s bodega, in the town of Aguilar de la Frontera. Secondly, it is apparently a smaller solera, and the average age of the bottled en rama is 5 years, as opposed to the 10 years for the Electrico del Lagar.

Straw yellow with greenish hues. Bright and light in the glass. Lifted aromas with almond tones & fresh baked bread, from the flor yeast.

The palate is dry, with a hint of bitterness, slightly acidic and saline.

Perfect accompaniment to fried fish, ham and Iberian pork, olives, pickles, semi-hard cheeses
