Diam. Always an outstanding example of the village, ever since Leroux's first release in 2007—and this year is no exception. The fruit for the 2019 release comes solely from Corvée des Vignes on the Meursault side of the village, (the yields in Leroux's other sources of Les Reuchaux and Les Levrons were heavily reduced by frost). The wine was fermented in barrique (some new) for six weeks, before aging in used 228-litre barrels.
"Clear bright lemon yellow. This has a fine and classical bouquet, lightly floral and with considerable delicacy. Definitely in Puligny style. Dances nicely on the palate, good length, exactly what a village Puligny should be." 90-93 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
