Lustau Amontillado 'Los Arcos' 750ml
Winery Notes - "Aged for equal periods under flor and in contact with the oxygen, in Bodega Emperatriz Eugenia in Jerez de la Frontera. This dry Amontillado acquires a genuine, rich and nutty flavour through years of ageing. Amber in colour, with hazelnut aromas on the nose. Light, soft and round on the palate, with a long aftertaste". Average age 8 years.

Lustau Manzanilla "Papirusa" Solera Familiar
Aged following a biological aging, under a veil of yeast called "flor" in the cool, humid, salty air of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a fishing town on the estuary of the Guadalquivir River. Bright yellow colour with golden reflections. This Manzanilla is laced with sea breeze scents and pleasant chamomile and flor aromas. Bone dry and light, fresh and crisp, with a hint of sea salt on the palate. Delicate and refreshing.

Gutierrez Colosia Amontillado 18% 375ml
"This is the entry-level Amontillado from Bodegas Gutierrez Colosia, located right by the sea in El Puerto de Santa Maria. It starts its life as a Fino and after three years it moves to an oxidative phase which lasts another five years. At the time of bottling, it is around 8-9 years old."
Nose: it’s easy to notice the Fino background of this wine. Maritime notes, some sea air, but also plenty of round notes like (salted) caramel, runny honey … more

Delgado Zuleta Amontillado 'Monteagudo' 375ml. 18.5%.
Winery Notes - "This comes from the solera of manzanilla Zuleta. This wine begins as Manzanilla and therefore has a biological aging in a first phase, but after losing the characteristic layer of flor yeast it undergoes an oxidative stage. 100% Palomino variety, with about 8 or 9 years of aging in American oak casks, using the traditional Criaderas & Solera system.
It is clean and bright with an intense golden color. With very intense nose and nuances of biological … more

Emilio Lustau Vermut Tinto 750ml
This is a red vermouth based on two sherry wines selected by its enologist Manuel Lozano. One is a sweet and velvety Pedro Ximenez and the other a dry and nutty Amontillado - aged separately in their own soleras for 10 years.
The wines are then used to macerate more than ten botanicals and aromatic herbs like gentian, sage, absinth, coriander and orange peel. Each botanical macerates separately for optimal aroma extraction. The master blender then expertly combines the infused … more

Gutierrez Colosia Oloroso 375ml
A bone dry Oloroso, product of very slow oxidative ageing : more than 7 years in butts.
Chestnut brown, watery quince at the rim. Sandalwood, golden tobacco and sweet spice
frame a rich, round nose of maple-roasted walnuts. The palate juxtaposes power and
elegance, with hazelnut praline, honey-drizzled green fig & toffee. There’s a fine line of
cold, over-steeped billy tea and forest smoke and a complex, fragrant tangle of autumn
leaves, balsam, spicy leather and mellow wood. A precise, … more

Romate Fino Perdido En Rama Saca de Enero 2021
"Sánchez Romate's Fino Perdido is neither a classic fino nor perhaps a classic en rama wine. The name means 'lost fino' and refers to the fact that it is a style of wine, an aged fino bordering on fino-amontillado (a classification that no longer exists), that is today relatively rare. It does spend all of its 7-8 years under the film-forming yeast called flor that protects the wine from oxygen (keeping it pale and fresh) but it spends considerably longer … more

Valdespino El Candado Pedro Ximenez
El Candado is Spanish for the padlock, and indeed every bottle comes with a small padlock and two little keys. The idea is that a butt from this solera used to be locked away as someone from the Valdespino family wanted to keep the wine to himself.
As with most PX, it is very sweet and unctuous, but not over the top. The palate shows toffee notes, dessert with figs and honey & guava. It grows slightly darker towards the … more

Bodegas El Maestro Sierra 15 Year Old Oloroso 500ml
Dry, nutty start. Hazelnuts, brazil nuts. Umami notes of beef stock and dried mushrooms. On the other end of this earthy, darker side there is a brightness of bitter oranges and fresh figs. A bit of toffee and echoes of spices (not unlike gingerbread, really nice).
On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a surprising lightness and ease to it. Good balance of acidity, a suggestion of caramel sweetness, lightly bitter notes (dried herbs, Seville oranges) and a soft, gingery … more
